Middle management plays a significant role in connecting the strategic decisions of top management with the daily activities of employees. The successful realization of business priorities depends on the ability of these managers to clearly convey goals, appropriately allocate tasks, and provide support for their execution. To this end, the Council for Promotion of Training and Education Quality at the Economic Chamber, in cooperation with the Business Center for Training and Education, carried out the three-day training "Skills for Middle Management Development" on 17 and 24 September, and 24 October 2026, aimed at developing the skills needed for efficient work organization, employee management, and implementation of company strategies.
The training focused on upgrading skills for applying company rules and procedures, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and developing employee capabilities. Particular emphasis was placed on motivating teams, encouraging a responsible attitude toward colleagues and work assets, as well as developing initiatives to improve productivity.
The objectives of the training also covered planning and rational resource utilization, employee retention, contributing to the selection of new staff, timely reporting of operational challenges to superiors, and proper recording of completed activities.
Such training is significant for managers because it helps them perform their role with greater confidence, make well-considered decisions, and manage daily workplace challenges more successfully. At the same time, the benefits extend to the employees in their teams: clearer tasks and expectations, better communication, constructive feedback, and greater support for professional development. Such an approach contributes to increasing motivation, satisfaction, and efficiency among employees.
Representatives from the companies Alkaloid AD Skopje, Titan Usje AD Skopje, Agria Group Veles, and Sasa Mines Makedonska Kamenica participated in the training. Such companies are aware that investing in the development of middle management is an investment in people and in the long-term success of enterprises. By strengthening these skills, conditions are created for better work organization, more efficient resource utilization, and building teams that contribute to achieving company goals.
