Last week in Skopje, the Startup Revolution AI summit was held—one of the most significant events in the region dedicated to artificial intelligence and the startup ecosystem. Native Teams, an innovative Macedonian company and member of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, played a prominent role at the summit by participating in two key panels: one focused on the future of work and another on the evolution of the fintech sector in 2025.
During the panel “Redefining Remote Work: The Untold Story Behind the Global Success of Native Teams,” Simona Aleksovska, Chief of Staff at Native Teams, shared the inspiring story of the company’s growth and its contribution to shaping the future of global remote work. She emphasized that the core mission of Native Teams—to enable professionals and companies to work legally and without restrictions from anywhere in the world—is at the heart of all their products. She placed particular emphasis on the company’s new AI-based solutions, which automatically simplify compliance with local laws, hiring, and financial administration for distributed teams. These tools help companies and individuals significantly reduce bureaucracy, save time, and scale more safely at a time when remote work has become the new normal.
The second panel, “From Startup to Scale-Up: How to Build Funded FinTech Products in 2025,” was moderated by Simona Aleksovska (Native Teams). Together with top panelists—Belizar Marinov (Eleven Ventures), Kevin Chavanne (Tenity Accelerator), Hrisovalantis D. Koutsoumpos (Fintech & Digital Product Expert), and Sanja Mitrovska (founder of The Founder Games)—they discussed the key prerequisites for building scalable and investment-attractive fintech products in today’s dynamic global market.
The discussion covered current trends, investor expectations, the challenges of moving from early traction to genuine scaling, the importance of regulatory readiness, and the growing influence of artificial intelligence on the future of financial services. The panel brought together investor, accelerator, and practical product perspectives, resulting in highly valuable insights for all attending founders and leaders.
The Startup Revolution AI 2025 summit proved to be an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, networking, and gaining strategic visibility. It reaffirmed that companies like Native Teams are at the forefront of innovation—especially when it comes to the intersection of remote work, fintech, and artificial intelligence.
