The President of the Association of Construction, Building Materials and Non-Metal Industries at the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, Andrea Serafimovski, gave an interview to the Croatian web portal Construction.hr, in which he discussed the current challenges facing Macedonia's construction sector.
In the interview, Serafimovski pointed out that the shortage of skilled labor and the outflow of workers to Croatia, Slovenia, and other European countries represent serious challenges for domestic construction companies. He emphasized that companies are increasingly investing in better working conditions, higher salaries, and professional training in order to retain the local workforce and ensure the sector's sustainable development.
The interview also highlights the view that developing strong and competitive domestic construction companies is a key prerequisite for retaining skilled workforce and ensuring the successful implementation of the country's major capital investment projects.
