The President of the Association of Construction, Building Materials and Non-Metal Industries, Andrea Serafimovski, appeared as a guest on the TV program Top Tema on Telma, where he presented the Association’s views regarding the current situation in the construction sector and the real estate market.

He emphasized that the construction sector has shown improved results during this period, primarily as a result of the intensified implementation of CapEx projects. Regarding the real estate market, he pointed out that a certain decline in apartment sales was recorded during the first quarter, but that at this moment it is difficult to forecast future trends due to uncertainty and the current economic challenges.

He further stressed that the business community expects the construction of the particularly significant capital project, the Kichevo–Ohrid Motorway, to gain stronger momentum in the coming period and to be fully completed during 2027, which would enable better infrastructure connectivity and provide an additional boost to economic development.
