NAPLES - On May 14th 2022, as requested by the president of Mosha (Macedonian occupational safety and health association), Milan Petkovski, the Campania Regional Directorate of Inail, in collaboration with the Central Planning and Communication Directorate and the Central Prevention Directorate - Focal point Eu Osha, organized a visit to Hitachi Rail Sts, with the involvement of the Naples Chamber of Commerce and Si Impresa, a special company of the Chamber of Commerce.

The vicarious regional director presented the mission of the Institute. The day opened with a presentation of Hitachi by Ulderico Zona, employer and executive officer sheq, who presented the model adopted by Hitachi for the protection of the health and safety of workers. Afterwards, the vicarious regional director Inail Campania, Adele Pomponio, presented the mission of the Institute, immediately after the screening of two films: “The world of Inail” and “This is Inail too”, with English subtitles.

Great appreciation expressed by the representative of the Macedonian delegation. Carlo De Matteis, director of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples and of Si Impresa, together with Angela Pulvirenti, EEN Osh Ambassador, Fast illustrated the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and the special company Siimpresa in favor of companies. Lastly, the representative of the Macedonian delegation took the floor and, appreciating the activities carried out by Inail, reiterated the will of his association to approach, as far as possible, the model of the Institute.

Screened the video "A year of good stories", made by Inail. The first part of the day ended with the screening of the video “A year of good stories”, the Inail communication campaign on the stories of reintegration of workers who have suffered an accident at work or contracted an occupational disease. The delegation then visited the company, accompanied by Vincenzo Romano, Plant Manager of Hitachi and Carmine Piccolo, researcher Inail Campania. At the end of the visit, some publications published by the Institute were delivered, including "Foreigner not a stranger - ABC of safety at work".
Upon return of the delegation, Mrs. Irena Mojsovska from EEN Macedonia, from the Economic Chamber of N Macedonia contacted Mr. Petkovski from the Macedonian occupational safety and health association for a follow up of the visit and possible valorization and transfer of good practice in the near future.
