Continuing the course of the ongoing implementation of the activities of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia, in the period from July 25 to 29, 2022, representatives from the Chamber paid a study visit to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) based in Ankara, Republic of Turkey. The purpose of the visit was the professional development of the representatives of the Chamber in the area of promotion of the activities of the Chamber operation, as well as the exchange of experiences and know-how.

The study visit was realized within the framework of the agreed activities of the meeting in Ankara between the presidents Azeski and Hisarcıklıoğlu for the professional development of employees from the Economic Chamber in the department for international cooperation and export within the framework of TOBB.

The representatives from the Chamber held a working meeting with the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, where they discussed the current and future projects of the TOBB as well as the opportunities to strengthen the cooperation between the two Chambers.

With the realization of this visit, the two Chambers once again confirmed their long-lasting cooperation and joint commitment to create additional conditions for facilitating cooperation between the business sectors of the two countries.

During the visit, the representatives of the Chamber had the opportunity to learn more about the Chamber operation and organization in the Republic of Turkey. Through numerous presentations, the hosts presented their services and additional mechanisms to support companies in their operations on the domestic market, but also on the markets of the EU, USA, Maghreb and the Middle East.

During the stay, a visit to the development Industrial Zones intended for domestic companies was also organized, where representatives from the Chamber had a meeting with Mrs. Çağri Pinar Yildizli, manager of finance and human resources, and got to know in more detail their role, procedures and way of functioning. Visit to one of the production facilities of a company that operates within the zones was also organized.

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) is the highest legal entity in Turkey that unites 365 members in the form of local chambers of commerce, industry, trade and industry, maritime trade and commodity exchanges, in 81 provinces and 160 districts in Turkey.
