NEW COMPOSITION OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF THE FOREIGN INVESTORS COUNCIL ELECTED
STEFAN PETER TO LEAD THE FOREIGN INVESTORS COUNCIL FOR ANOTHER TWO-YEAR TERM

Mr. Stefan Peter, President of the Management Board of EVN Macedonia, was reelected as FIC President for the coming two-year term during an online session of the Assembly of the Foreign Investors Council held on 28/04/2021.

Aiming to represent and act on behalf of the foreign investors in this country more efficiently, organized into the Foreign Investors Council, the Assembly elected a new composition of the Management Board according to the Rules of Operation. The newly elected members of the Management Board of the Council are as follows:

Aleksandar Chadikovski – TGS Tehnichki Gasovi

Avram Stojchevski – Van Hool Macedonia

Vanja Stojanovski – Lear Corporation

Vuk Radović – Okta AD Skopje

Dimitar Cvetkovski – Makstil AD Skopje

Goran Vasilev – FD IuteCredit Macedonia

Ivan Kostić – Philip Morris TKP

Marija Dukovska-Pavlovska – Kemet Electronics

Nejat Kurt – TAV Macedonia

Ratko Hristov – Sokotab

Sashko Nakov – Amphenol Technology

The rapid changes of the economic environment and business conditions have a direct impact on the dynamics of the FIC activities. To that end, the permanent and continuous monitoring and analysis of the economic situation in the country, which will provide basis to undertake and propose measures that promote the investment and business climate in the country, will further represent priority activities of the new management of the Foreign Investors Council in the upcoming period as part of its strategic commitment to functional operation.

To attain faster and more sustainable growth, in accordance with the 2021 Program guidelines, the Council will continue to insist on implementation of the necessary structural reforms, which will considerably increase the efficiency and productivity of the entire economy and which will create foreseeable and sustainable business environment where the same rules apply to every factor. Prompted by the modern practices the foreign investors implement in their working process, through managerial approach and thinking, work ethics, effectiveness, professional development, digitalization, as well as through transfer of technology and knowledge, the Foreign Investors Council will promote these principles in the coming period as significant benefits that will improve the competitiveness of the overall economy.

At the end of the event, Mr. Freek Janmaat of the EU Delegation in Skopje presented the latest EC Report on the progress of the Republic of North Macedonia.
